GENERAL SAFETY RULES
- You must sign and date
the liability release on the other side of this form.
- You MUST have a
referee(s) with your group on the field at all times while playing.
- KEEP YOUR GOGGLES ON AT
ALL TIMES WHEN AT THE CHRONOGRAPH AND ANYTIME YOU GO PAST THE
NETTING TO ENTER THE PLAYING FIELDS UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY THE REFEREE –
THIS IS NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION AND WILL BE AGRESSIVELY ENFORCED.
- Barrel Bags ARE
REQUIRED. They must remain on the marker while you are in the staging
area. If you must remove your barrel bag while in the staging area,
remove your tank AND hopper BEFORE you remove your barrel bag. This
will be enforced!
- Maximum field velocity
is 300 FPS – check your marker before play and regularly during the day
- you are responsible for maintaining safe speeds. You may be asked to
verify your FPS by a referee AT ANY TIME.
- Dead Man Posture: When
eliminated from a game, the gun is aimed up with barrel bag on and
clearly visible as you walk off the field. Any variation of this means
you are FAIR GAME.
- Eliminated Players DO
NOT TALK, give up paint, guns or air, and/or point out players –
REMEMBER: talking dead players may earn bonus balls.
- If you say HIT, DEAD,
OUT, I'M GONE or anything similar; you are eliminated from the game.
- If a ball hits you and
you cannot see the mark, call a referee for a paintcheck. You must
defend yourself under a paintcheck.
- Full face masks with
ear covers are required.
- Trigger guard must be
on marker and operational.
- Beavertails ARE
REQUIRED on Auto Cockers.
- No shooting another
player within 20 feet during recreational play.
- SEMI AUTO ONLY during
regular recreational play.
- Only ONE MARKER per
person UNLESS YOU TALK TO THE REFEREE before game start.
- No food past the safety
net.
- Dry firing is
permitted, but please do so outside the Staging Area with marker
pointed in a safe direction and KEEP THE BARREL BAG ON.
- Referees rulings are
final, DO NOT argue with the refs, and discuss calls after game is
ended.
- All quarter size paint
marks on any part of the body or the gun count.
- DO NOT curse or provoke
any conflicts at this field.
- Any confrontation that
lasts past a referees order to cease will result in the Police being
called.
- Play safe, play fair,
HAVE FUN!!
ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CASTLE ROTSTEIN GAMES
- MAX Chrono speed for
Castle Games is 275 FPS.
- No shooting straight up
or down thru the cracks in the floor.
- No shooting straight
down on players on the outside of the wall – minimum 45 degree
engagement angle for safety.
- No shooting thru any
cracks less then 4” wide.
- Splatter doesn’t count
in this game, it has to be a hit.
- No blind firing.
ADDITIONAL RULES FOR TOURNAMENT PRACTICE SESSIONS
- Practice game sessions
must be cleared thru the Office BEFORE starting.
- MAX Chrono speed for
tourney practice is 300 FPS.
- Bunkering is allowed in
tourney practice game sessions.
- Shoes with steel spikes
are not allowed.
- Recreational Players
are not allowed to participate in practice sessions.
- Firing Modes are
permitted to match the series or tournament the players are practicing
for.
- Listen to the Referees.
- After practice
sessions, if you want to play rec ball, put your marker back in semi,
turn down the BPS and aggression level, drop the pod pack - play hopper
ball and introduce those players to a FUN GAME OF PAINTBALL.
