Tourneys, Playdays and Big Games
| The day started off slowly.....but heated up quickly after the troops were redistributed to equalize the teams. The Clue Sheet and the location of the first secure case and key was issued to each team and the carnage began......GAME ON!! Team Red was initially held up while looking for the first case but the Blue team located theirs quickly and returned it to their base. Team Blue were off and running with a case full of missions, clues and the most important thing in the case: the key and location of the next case! The Red Team acquired their first case a short time later and started playing catch up. The next few cases were grabbed by each team but getting and keeping them became harder and harder as they went deeper and deeper into enemy territory to retrieve them. During one of these missions, the Red Team got caught right outside their Fort and had one of their cases taken by the Blue Team before it was secured by the Base Referee. The chain of case locations and clues was broken. The Blue Team started grabbing not only their cases but the Red Team cases also. There is an added bonus for getting the other teams cases: the OTHER TEAMS case locations and missions go progressively deeper into YOUR territory so getting and using their clues and missions to add to your points is easier. The clues and missions were randomly placed in the cases and having both sets of clues allowed them to solve the crime quicker and add up the trivia and mission points. The momentum had changed but the Red Team came back and raided the Blue Fort. Most of the valuable cards needed by the Blue Team were hidden nearby and didn't change hands but a few were lost. One of the hard mission cards for the Blue Team was secured and performed by the Red Team - right next to their fort - for some pretty good points and helped keep them in the game. After the Big Game, the Prize Drawing was held. Many lucky players left with complete markers, tanks, goggles, hoppers, shirts, posters, barrel bags, and lots and lots of throw outs! The day closed with the longest ever, multi-reinsertion, paint slinging Final Battle which was also won by the Blue Team. Scene 1: Photos shot by PettyScene 1: Go to Devious Sports Gallery
