Petty Paintball listens to their players!  After numerous requests for a woods field, we have completed the first fort on a 16 acre playing area.  If you prefer a slightly slower pace than speedball and want to put on your Camo and play in the woods, this is the field for you!  Here are some photos of the first fort during construction and completion.  The fort, crow's nest, safety netting and shooting ports are complete.  The cover is good right now and will be great when spring hits and the trees add their leaves.   The goal is a continuous "Big Game" format with reinsertion back into the game after a brief time-out when eliminated.  If you need to take a break for paint, air, food, etc. you can leave and then be re-inserted at the next interval.

Here is a shot of the front.  The basic fort is complete.  Notice the shooting ports are covered with doors that are hinged and latched on the inside.  The crow's nest is complete in this photo.  You gain access the crow's nest from the inside up a ladder and thru a trap door in the floor.

Here's a shot from the South side before the roof and safety net were complete.  The front is on the left.  There is a 3 foot wide door on the front and the back.  If you look closely, you can see the covered gun ports on the two 16' walls.  Grenades will come in handy to take the fort!

Here's a shot from the North side. There is lots of cover from this side and it will get better when spring arrives!

Here is a shot of one wall with the covers on the ports closed and latched.

Here is another shot of the completed fort front exterior.  You can see the sheet iron on the roof of the crow's nest and two shooting ports facing the front.

THE SECOND FORT IS COMPLETE!!
